Dr.Shirol is specialised in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, with M.D.S. degree from renowned K.L.E.S Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. He has been in academics and practice which is dedicated exclusively to children. His Pediatric Dentistry Clinic is designed to make children feel comfortable and at home, and the experienced dental staff is trained to respond to the special concerns and needs of patients.
Dr.Dayanand is also the Consultant Pediatric Dentist at the esteemed Oyster & Pearl Hospital as well as at Noble Hospital, Pune.
Dr.Shirol, as a post graduate mentor, loves teaching and being one among the students. He is Professor in department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry at prestigious M.A. Rangoonwala Dental College & Hospital, Pune, where he is actively involved in both Undergraduate & Postgraduate training. Formerly he was Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune. He has several Research projects, presentations & publications in National and International Journals to his credit. He is also associated as examiner for various Universities across the country and as the inspector of Dental Council of India.

He enjoys volunteering his time for Rotary, Lions club and other organizations by serving on committees and participating in community events for children and School dental education lectures and camps.

He and his wife, Dr.Pallavi, an Oral Pathologist have been married seven years and have a naughty son – Rishu, who occasionally tests the patience of his father, as a cool kids’ dentist !
